Had the GoPro stuck on the side of a rental canoe just above the water. It was taking some cool video for a bit and then it got better. At some point I looked down and realized the camera was no longer there. Sh*****t and I was out of the canoe into 3 feet of water and sent the whole thing tipping. Debbie and half of our stuff was soaked but I got us stopped. Luckily it was only about waist deep and mostly clear water so i started trekking upstream retracing our path and found it about 100 feet back. The video was still rolling and caught me picking it up and us cheering for joy. Crazy! Sooooo now I always tie a safety strap around it and hook it to something.
