  • cofusion, cant find the VIN or Spezificationlabel on a 1986 Travelcraft Class A

    Good Morning,

My name is Torsten i am from Germany, and starts with a Draem of a Motorhome!

I buy this 1986 Travelcraft Motorhome in the USA and bring it here to my Place in Germany (what a Adventure ) Now i have to convert some Parts for EU-Standart to get it Street legal here.

To get this done i need a datasheet to get a new German Title, and here starts my Trouble, i search everywhere on the RV for a Spezification label and the VIN, but i cant find it

So i like to ask you, did anyone knows where the Guys from Travelcraft mount the Label and Vin on there Motorhomes? i try to get this Info from the Manufacturer, but they are out of Business from the mid 90's, also an search on Google don't get results, so i need Help

    Thank you

    Torsten

Wow sounds like quite an adventure!! Happy to try and help. I can't imagine purchasing in another country!

Often the VIN plates are in creative places along with other information placards. Try looking under the front hatch, around the engine compartment, just inside the entry doors, around the bottom of the dash near the windshield (sometimes you have to look thru the windshield from the outside to see it). Also manufacturers will put other information about the coach on the inside of a kitchen cabinet door.

Let us know what you find. More pictures too please, looks really nice!
