Introduction: What a great place! Have been going for years. Room for 40' motorhomes, a few pull thru sites, great location close to sand dunes, Silver Lake and Lake Michigan. Notes: We have found that many of their sites are listed with maximum sizes much smaller than you can actually fit on the site.
Here is the official Silver Lake State Park Website for more info and reservations.
A few pictures of the area (I have thousands if you're interested):

Hookups: 30 amp electric at all sites that seems to be fairly reliable. Don't have full hookups but if you get a site close enough to a water spigot you can fill your fresh water tank, they have good water.
Dump Station: Yes, 2 lanes but it's basically one at a time.
Wi-Fi: No
Cellular Service: AT&T works fairly well
Pool:No
Waterfront: One side of campground is on Silver lake
Boat Launch & Docking: Small boat launch on Silver Lake
Bathrooms/Showers: Yes, they can be very busy at times and staff can't keep up with cleaning them very well. Hot water for showers is hit or miss but seems to have been improved over the years.
Activities: Playground and beach by the water.
Attractions Nearby: Silver Lake Sand Dunes! Walk or bike to the small town with ice cream, general store, bakery, go carts, arcade, zip line, restaurants and lots of souvenirs.
Summary: One of our favorite places due to the quaint little town and easy access to the sand dunes.
