AllTrails Hiking & Mountain Biking Trails App

Will be trying out this AllTrails App this year. It's FREE and I'm kind of excited although it has gotten mixed reviews on the App Store.

From their welcome email- "Find trails, record your adventures, and so much more while on the go. Get the #1 Outdoors app for your phone today. Over 1 million members contribute to AllTrails' community driven database. Share reviews, photos, tracks, & more."

Let's do our own reviews and see how it helps out for RV'ers like us that love to find hiking and biking near our campsites.

At first glance it looks good. I signed up for free which was easy and turned the privacy on for now so others can't see where I am. Once you are signed in touch your name and your profile page comes up, touch "edit" in the upper right and you'll get to the privacy setting.

There is the option to upgrade to the National Geographic Topo Maps for $29.99/year. That's a bit spendy for someone like me that isn't that hardcore but when I retire...hiking everywhere! Will be fun to see how well it works without the extra subscription.
