  • Pocket Door Hardware

New, not so new problem, when i bought the RV the Bedroom pocket door latch was broken, not a big deal the door closes just doesn't click when shut because the receiver plate which is just a small metal D clip. But the a few weekends ago someone broke the one to the bathroom. I found the new C clip on the floor.

I can not find this type of pocket door hardware anywhere on google or ir2v sites. Nothing.

Does anyone know what type of pocket door hardware we have on the Europremier?

Our bedroom pocket door handle is broken too and I have spent significant time in the past trying to find a replacement. Unfortunately haven't had any luck.

      Found our old handle.

Unfortunately there is now this cutout that doesn't seem to match any style handle that is on the market today.

Here's what it used to latch to on the other side of doorway.

Mine are made out of metal - the door handle and strike plate - both of my strike plates or latch are broken - but the door handles still work including the window/door locking latch while in motion; but my door handle does not have the manufacture on it - probably because its metal lol

I forgot about those ball latches, haven't seen one in ages.

Not sure which would be preferable.

I've changed my search from RV sliding doors to Yacht / Boat sliding doors - lots more options for dual handle - and Elkhart Doors, Inc made items for Yachts.

That's a great idea! I'll do some searching tomorrow.

Guess what - I found somethings that might be helpful - I will check them out today or this weekend - www.rockler.com
here is the link for the friction door catches that are in the europremier - https://www.rockler.com/friction-door-catch

Josh these might work in a pinch for the doors, - until we can find or have someone make new sliding door handles:

Good find, those could be very handy.

Wonder if those safe push latches would work for the pocket doors? Looks like they are for cabinet doors but may be an easy retrofit.
